The prop pies from Waitress are so realistic we could eat them - but instead we want you to have them. These pies are the perfect kitchen decoration for your favorite baker - and maybe that’s yourself! We are giving away five of the prop pies that are used onstage during our production of Waitress and hand-crafted by our incredible team. When you donate $15, your name will go in the drawing once. Want a better chance to win? Larger donations like $45 will get you three entries with one donation. There's no limit to how many entries you can have! Open until Waitress closes on October 13, you don’t want to miss this sweet chance to help support the future of the arts in our community.

FAQ

Can I select a certain pie to win, or is that random?

We will draw one pie at a time, starting with the Pineapple Upside-Down Pie and proceeding down the list. Winners will receive the pie their name is drawn for and be unable to substitute.

When will the drawing occur?

We will perform the drawing on October 14th, the day after Waitress closes, and announce the winners in an email to all participants that day.

If I win, how do I pick up my pie?

If you win, we will reach out to you via email, let you know which pie you have won, and coordinate with you a time to pick up the pie. If we cannot get a hold of the winners within 10 days, we will draw a new winner.

What does my donation support?

Whether it be decorating your office or your living room, everyone has items that help them feel at home and connected to a space. The characters we see onstage are no different. The props department brings new worlds to life right before our eyes by finding and building props that connect you to the characters onstage.

Here are some ways your $15 can Pie It Forward:

$15 covers the cost of the fake fruit used in one pie.
$15 covers the cost of two bricks of sculpting clay used to create the pie.

All donations received through the Pie It Forward campaign will go to support props and the many other departments that contribute to the daily functions of the Arvada Center.

How can I contribute to Pie It Forward?

All donations received during the run of Waitress (August 30th through October 13th) will be included in the Pie It Forward campaign. This includes contributions made through cash, check, or credit card whether mailed, online, or in-person at the Box Office.
