Keynote with New York Times best selling author Laura Moriarty




Hear from best selling author Laura Moriarty as she discusses her latest and first young adult novel American Heart about a Muslim-American girl and her previous novel The Chaperone, soon to be released as a feature film, about the woman who chaperoned an irreverent Louise Brooks to New York City in 1922. In addition to her talk, Ms. Moriarty will answer questions and sign copies of her books.

Laura Moriarty earned a degree in social work before returning for her M.A. in creative writing at the University of Kansas. She was the recipient of the George Bennett Fellowship for Creative Writing at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire and is now a professor of creative writing at the University of Kansas.
