The Arvada Center Book Fest is a celebration of the joy of books and reading. It gives attendees the opportunity to visit with award-winning authors, illustrators and poets who will talk about and sign their books. In addition to author talks, book-signings and children’s activities, the 2018 event will include a keynote speaker, brunch with an author and workshops and writing tracks for children and adults.

The Arvada Center Book Fest features a variety of interactive family-centered activities about the importance of lifelong literacy, cultural preservation, storytelling and the utilization of digital devices for reading. Genres include History & Biography, Fiction & Mystery, Poetry & Prose, Children’s Literature, Contemporary Life, Young Adult Fiction, Graphic Novels and Comic Books, the Culinary Arts, and more. The Book Fest is a fundraiser for the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, a nonprofit, multi-disciplinary arts organization that provides cultural experiences for nearly 300,000 children and adults across the Denver-metro area.

Additional events such as workshops, brunch with an author, and tickets to the keynote presentation will go on sale March 8, 2018.
